How+can+I+prevent+a+basement+flood+coming+from+the+drains%3F%7CI%27m+currently+looking+to+buy+a+house+and+I%27ve+found+a+very+nice+one.++The+only+problem+is+that+in+a+heavy+rain+a+few+weeks+ago+the+basement+flooded+2-3+inches.++I%27d+still+like+to+buy+this+house+if+I+could+prevent+this+in+the+future%2C+and+I+am+willing%2Fable+to+install+a+sump+pump+in+the+basement.++However%2C+I+found+out+that+the+flood+came+up+from+the+sewer+drains+in+the+floor.++Is+there+any+way+I+can+prevent+this+kind+of+basement+flooding%3F

I know I cannot exceed the max wattage on the warning label but I cannot tell which is the max for the label on my ceiling built-in flood lamp. The label says: “60W.A (followed by a standard lightbulb symbol); 90W.PAR 38, 100W.R40 (followed by a flood lamp bulb symbol) MAX.

After a flood what are the steps you should take immediately after the water resides? For e.g. Remove damaged carpet and drywall, plug in fans and heaters?
